Hollander's is located in the historic Kerrytown Shops, on the northern edge of downtown Ann Arbor. The Kerrytown Shops are an eclectic mix of over 20 specialty stores including a produce and meat market, fish counter, wine store, and coffee shop on the first floor. Upstairs are a number of gift shops including a vintage collectibles shop, toy store, art and craft gallery, tea shop, and a hair salon.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, just outside the Kerrytown Shops is the Ann Arbor Farmers' Market, bustling with local farmers and artisans during peak season. Across the street from Hollander’s, on Fourth Ave, is the Kerrytown Concert House, which showcases nationally recognized classical and jazz performers.
On Sundays, the Artisan's Market is active with many local artists set up in the Farmers' Market area. Throughout the year, a number of major events take place in the Kerrytown District, including the Kerrytown BookFest which is held the first Sunday after Labor Day.
Within a short walk from Hollander's are many great places to eat for all tastes and budgets, including the world famous Zingerman’s Delicatessen. A large selection of restaurants, art galleries, cafes, and shops are just a few steps away within the Kerrytown District, as well as throughout Ann Arbor’s downtown and University of Michigan central campus areas.
