Hollander's Complete Chap-Book with Clamshell Box Kit is a deluxe book and box making kit, complete with trim strips for the book and box. It includes all the book board pieces, text pages, pre-cut decorative papers, and book cloth (papers and book cloth may be used as a pattern, if preferred). Also includes sewing thread, needle, headbands, super (for spine reinforcement), PVA standard glue, PVA thick glue, bone folder, spacing guides and an excellent 32 page instruction booklet with over 100 images. This kit will teach you all the basics and more of bookbinding and box making. Overall dimensions when completed are 6 1/2" x 5" x 1"  You will need:  Brush and scissors and a few household items. All other supplies are included.

PVA Freeze Warning: The adhesive properties of PVA significantly diminish when it freezes. Therefore, during the winter months we try to monitor when we ship our PVA glues. If the weather is such that our glue shipments may be affected, we will hold your entire order until conditions allow us to ship.  A tell-tale sign that your PVA was frozen is if the glue exhibits a chalky or cottage cheese like texture. If you can stir the glue and it smooths out, it should be fine. If not, it should be discarded.  We suggest you do not order PVA glue during the winter months when you know the temperature may below freezing.
