Ordering & Shipping Summary
Our website features an easy-to-use Shopping Cart for purchasing items or registering for workshops. Simply select an item, click ORDER and follow the steps through checkout. At any time during the ordering process you can view your order in the Shopping Cart.
When your order is placed, you should receive an email notification confirming that we have received your order, along with a confimation number. Please print this for your records. After we review your order, we will contact you directly by email or phone if we have any questions. If you selected UPS Ground Service, please expect 1 to 3 business days for your order to be processed before it is shipped.
Expedited orders received before 10:00 AM, Eastern Time, receive priority attention and are processed and shipped the same business day. Orders received after 10:00 AM will ship the next business day.
After your order is shipped, you will receive an email from UPS with shipping information including a tracking number. Please note that UPS Ground shipping and delivery time varies from 1 to 6 days depending on your location from our Michigan lstore. Generally it takes 3 days to reach the East Coast and 5 - 6 days to reach the West Coast.
Merchandise Return Policy
We accept returns on all of our products in their original condition with receipt and
within 30 days of purchase
with the exception of paper and book cloth.
All returns must be pre approved by Hollander's.
Due to the fragile nature of book cloth and paper, these items cannot be returned. All returned merchandise is subject to the original shipping and handling fees, plus the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to all our customers. If at any time there is a problem, please contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Pricing Policy
We charge the same prices online as we do in our store, however, prices occasionally may increase before we are able to update our website. While we will make every attempt to update the website as soon as possible, please note that prices are subject to change without notice. Should the price of an item that you have ordered vary greater than 15% of the on-line price, we will contact you directly before processing your order.
Back Orders
Occassionally, an item will be out of stock before we update our website. We will attempt to contact you if a major portion of your order is out of stock, otherwise your order will will be shipped without the out of stock itmes. We do not ship back orders.
Color Variations
Decorative papers, book cloth, and leather and may vary slightly in color. This may be the result of lightly differing dye lots as well as variations in computer monitors. Also, the fact that many papers are handmade may attribute to this. Please recognize that some of the papers, book cloth, or leathers you order may differ slightly from the samples you receive or view on the web site.
Oversize Paper
Although we attempt to ship every sheet of paper at the size it is listed on our website, on a rare occasion we may need to cut a paper in half due to packaging considerations and to assure it arrives undamaged.
Shipping Costs
Receive a $10.00 Shipping Credit
All orders placed on our website that total over $100, and are shipped by UPS Ground to a location in the contiguous United States (excludes Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico), will automatically receive up to a $10 shipping credit at check out. This shipping credit only applies towards the shipping cost and not towards product. If the shipping cost is over $10, the customer will be charged the difference. Several items are not included in this promotion and are noted on the website.
Domestic Shipping - UPS Ground Service
We attempt to ship all UPS Ground Service orders within 1 to 3 business days after we receive them., For UPS Ground Service, our website calculates the current UPS Ground rate based on destination and the weight of the package(s). We offer a Shipping Estimator in our shopping cart to give you the approximate cost for shipping.
Domestic Shipping - UPS Expedited Services
All expedited services will be charged UPS Shipping Rates, plus an additional $5. The $5 service fee is charged to assure priority shipping and moves your order ahead of all UPS Ground Orders.

UPS Next Day Air (10:30 AM Delivery)
Expedited orders placed before 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, Monday-Friday, will ship the same business day. Orders placed on Friday after 10:00 AM Eastern Time will ship the following Monday.
International Shipping
USPS Express Mail International is are only international shipping service. An additional $10 processing fee applies to all international orders.
Saturday Delivery
UPS delivers on Saturdays to domestic destinations only. This service must be requested and there is an additional UPS fee. Check SATURDAY DELIVERY in the Shopping Cart to ensure a Saturday delivery. The shipping estimator will give the approximate cost for a Saturday delivery.
Damaged Parcels
Occasionally a package may arrive damaged and a claim will need to be made. If this occurs, please contact us immediately and report the damaged package to UPS. We will ship a duplicate order as quickly as possible.
APO Addresses
Hollander’s offers a $10 shipping credit to all APO addresses. Simply select this option in the SHIPPING CALCULATOR in the Shopping Cart.
In-Store Pick-up
Items may be ordered online and held for pick-up in the store. Please indicate this option in the SHIPPING CALCULATOR and include your anticipated pick-up date in the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION field.
