Cooking Class: Frita and Batidos

Frita & Batidos with Eve Aranoff. Join Eve, of eve the Restaurant, as she offers a cooking class on two items that are the focus of her new Cuban inspired restaurant. Featured today will be a Frita, a Cuban burger made from spicy chorizo served with shoestring fries on top in a soft egg bun. And a Batidos, a tropical milkshake made with fresh fruit, crushed ice, and a drop of sweetened milk. - - - Eve recently competed in Top Chef. She attended Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and graduated with diplomas in French Cuisine and Wine and Spirits in 1999. She has worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and is the executive chef at eve the Restaurant.
